PRUDHOE-based SCM Pharma once again supported the annual Tynedale Beer Festival as the local community enjoyed the 10th anniversary.
The contract manufacturing organisation, which specialises in making sterile drug products, was a headline sponsor at the 2011 Corbridge-based festival that showcased no fewer than 110 beers and ciders.
SCM Pharma has backed the Tynedale Beer Festival for several years now due to the kind-natured spirit of the event that includes volunteers giving up their spare time to run the event and the donating of all profits to local good causes.
The event was enjoyed by around half of SCM’s Pharma’s staff this year along with many of its local clients and partners.
Neal Wesley, technical director and beer-lover at SCM Pharma, said: “The beer festival was a fantastic local event that brought the community together and is an event we are very proud to be associated with."
