Our main purpose-built facility is based in the heart of picturesque Northumberland in North East England. Our contract manufacturing capabilities are housed in a 17,000 sq. ft. external shell, specifically planned and assembled to meet the high standards required for a GMP clinical trial and licensed medicine manufacturer. In addition, we have a commercial office in the USA and our formulation development capabilities are housed within the University of Sunderland’s state-of-the-art £8.5m science complex.
Our core manufacturing facility allows sterile and non sterile development, manufacturing and fill/finish within class c (class 10,000) cleanrooms, catering for batch sizes from one unit to around 100kg or litres for clinical trial and licensed product supply. This allows the production and filling of sterile products, radio-labelled (c-14) compounds and potent products (including cytotoxics and cytostatics) for clinical supplies and commercial supply projects. With a dedicated team of scientists, our pre-clinical capability is housed in state-of-the-art formulation and analytical laboratories at the University of Sunderland's £8.5m new science complex.
From this site, we can deliver developmental services for liquid formulations including emulsions and suspensions for parenteral, oral and topical administration using either proprietary or clients’ novel delivery systems. Naturally, stability and analytical testing support services are also provided. It’s a potent you say? Need GMP too? No problem.
